The National Schizophrenia Fellowship (Scotland) is a member-led organisation which works to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of those affected by schizophrenia and other mental illnesses, including families and carers. NSF (Scotland) represents the interests of its 500 members, and its service users, and promotes meaningful involvement and empowerment of service users and carers in all support and services. NSF (Scotland) provides community based services, information/education and promotes greater understanding of schizophrenia. The following services are offered:

  • Resource centres
  • Vocational projects
  • Carer support
  • Literature on various aspects of schizophrenia
  • Regular meetings of mutual support groups throughout Scotland.
