The International Eating Disorders Centre is a Christian based residential centre for the treatment of adolescents and adults 16 years and over suffering from anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, and related eating disorders. People from all denominations or of no faith are welcomed. Treatment, using a multi-disciplinary, eclectic approach, is available in a homely non-institutionalized environment to those who are seeking help. The Centre is situated in southern England 50 miles north of London, on the outskirts of Aylesbury, and is open to people throughout the UK and overseas.
The programme consists of in-patient treatment, partial care, and follow-up aftercare. Funding may be obtained through the NHS or from private medical insurance, as well as self funding. Referrals to the Centre are made by consultant psychiatrists, GPs or consultant psychologists.
