The Tasha Foundation is a local organisation which provides confidential information, support and counselling and holistic health care services to individuals affected by mental health difficulties and problematic drug use. These services are available to people in the Ealing, Hounslow and London Borough of Richmond Health Authorities areas. However, Tasha Foundation produces self-help packs and tapes which are available to individuals outside the area for a donation to cover costs and postage.
There is also an out of hours helpline providing information, advice and a listening ear. This is operated by qualified counsellors. The helpline is open 6 - 9 pm, 365 days a year.
Self-help packs available include the following.
- Sleeping information
- Withdrawing from tranquillisers
- Understanding and overcoming agoraphobia
- Understanding and coping with anxiety
- Understanding and overcoming depression
- Stress management
The following tapes are also available in a variety of languages.
