Rett syndrome is a complex neurological disorder that affects mainly girls. Rett Syndrome Association of the UK is a national organisation giving help, advice and support to families and professionals.

Their services include a quarterly magazine, a family weekend, self-help support groups across the UK, and parent to parent support through a regional contact network. Their support service manager provides proactive support, advice and information to families, carers and professionals. They fund research and work in partnership internationally. They rely on donations and grants for their income.
