Features and activities of the Association are as follows:

• Organising a national league of 8 divisions and various cup competitions, including those for women and juniors.
• It has over 100 national league teams covering most areas of Great Britain, 8 women's league teams and 24 Lord Taverners junior league teams. There are also 45 national league clubs.
• It has responsibility for training and competitions for the Great Britain men's, women's and junior teams.
• Information is available for those interested in playing who will be directed to their nearest local club.
