Glanzmann's Thrombasthenia is an abnormality of platelets, which are involved with clotting of the blood. The support group was founded by a parent of a child diagnosed with the condition. Its main aim is to help the parents of newly diagnosed children in the following ways.

  • Sharing family experiences.
  • Advising on benefits.
  • Arranging visits either at the families address or that above.
  • Supplying written information (those interested should supply photocopying and postage costs).
