DABS is an independent organisation which provides the following:

  • A confidential mail-order service for books on sexual abuse, childhood abuse and related issues.
  • Telephone information service.
  • DABS National Resource Directory - which is updated quarterly and lists over 500 services in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland working to overcome sexual abuse.
  • DABS Resource Packs - including details of specialist organisations in the enquirer's area, a list of relevant national organisations, helpsheets and a specialist booklist.
  • DABS specialist leaflets - for survivors, counsellors, GPs and other professionals who come into contact with survivors of abuse in the course of their work.
