REACT (Rapid Effective Assistance for Children with potentially Terminal illness) provides funding to improve the quality of life for children with life-limiting illnesses living in families experiencing financial hardship. Funding can be considered for a broad range of items, including:

  • Specialist Equipment: mobility aids, specialist chairs and beds, sensory Items, educational tools, medical equipment, etc.
  • Domestic Equipment: kitchen appliances, furnishings, clothing and bedding, etc.

In addition REACT can provide travel and food expenses during hospital admissions/visits, holidays at one of six holiday parks around the UK and funeral/memorial expenses.

REACT makes awards daily and aims to respond to every application within a few days. Applications must be endorsed by a medical professional or social care worker.
