The Children's Trust helps children with the most profound disabilities, some of whom have degenerative conditions and/or complex health needs. Disabilities and conditions typically include, cerebral palsy, Rett syndrome, Batten's disease, profound and multiple learning difficulties and acquired brain injury. The Trust offers the following services.
- Residential rehabilitation for children with an acquired brain injury.
- Community support for children with an acquired brain injury.
- Special education for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
- Transitional care for children who are technology dependent.
- Long term residential care.
- Short breaks, both in the family home (outreach) and at The Children's Trust.
- Palliative care.
The Children's Trust accepts children from across the UK and occasionally from other countries.
