Henshaws Society for Blind People is a major registered charity providing a wide range of residential, educational, training, and community services for people of all ages with a visual impairment across the North of England. They have two regional resource centres in Manchester and Liverpool; a College of Further Education in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and an Arts & Craft Centre in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. Henshaws is also a registered social landlord and provides residential accommodation and community housing in Newcastle, Salford, and Harrogate.

Their wide range of services include rehabilitation services on contract, children and family services, IT training and vocational guidance, volunteer visiting, and a patient support service at eye clinics in hospitals within Greater Manchester.
