LTCA is an umbrella charity working for better lives for people with long-term health conditions by supporting its member organisations, promoting self-management and campaigning for change.

  • LTCA is made up of over 100 national voluntary organisations in the UK.
  • LTCA member organisations cover physical and mental health, and both common and less common long-term conditions.
  • LTCA works to ensure that the voices of people with long-term conditions are heard, valued and acted upon.
  • LTCA works to influence and support the development of high quality self-management programmes.
  • LTCA aims to provide effective support for its member organisations through meetings, conferences, publications and provision of information and signposting to other sources of help.

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.
