Ekbom syndrome is more commonly know as restless legs syndrome.

All new members of the Association are sent an information pack and receive newsletters containing help and advice. Everyone joining is asked to complete a questionnaire. The information from these, which are identified by reference number only, is being collated and passed to a research neurologist for study if permission is given by the member.

New members are asked to supply a large SAE. £10 membership fee applies, and donations towards the cost of printing are also welcome. The group has information on the following:

• Commonly used drugs and remedies.
• Tips for treatment.
• Advice on sleep clinic referral.
• Facts on periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD).
