The British Polio Fellowship is a national charity providing information and support to people with polio and post polio syndrome who live in the UK. Through the central office, and its 50 branches, the British Polio Fellowship provides the following services:
- Information and advice service.
- Information on post polio syndrome: diagnosis and management.
- Communication through a bi-monthly magazine.
- Lists of interested consultants.
- Social and recreational activities through local branches.
- Self catering bungalow (fully accessible) holiday accommodation.
- Small welfare grants and holiday grants.
- Promotion of polio immunisation programmes throughout the UK.
