The Seasonal Affective Disorder Association (SADA) is a voluntary organisation and registered charity which informs the public and health professions about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and supports and advises sufferers of the illness. It produces a newsletter thrice-yearly, and other publications, has a network of contacts, and raises money for research into SAD.
SADA receives no funding so has to charge for membership and information packs to provide sufferers with information, advice and support.
For a small charge (contact above for current price), individuals can send for the SADA Information Pack which contains full details of SAD treatments, where to obtain light therapy equipment and how to use it, how to hire light fixtures and try out light treatment, how to adapt one's lifestyle, clinics, books, references, and GP information.
Please write for further details of membership fees or send a stamped addressed envelope for a free information leaflet on SAD and SADA.
