HemiHelp is a registered charity for children with hemiplegia.
It supports its members by:
- Running a telephone and email support helpline.
- Provides a message board for exchange of ideas on the website.
- Provides regular newsletters, leaflets, information sheets, books and a video.
- Runs regional conferences, workshops and sports activity days for both families and professionals.
The aims of HemiHelp are:
- To provide information and support for those individuals with childhood acquired hemiplegia and their families and carers.
- To increase public awareness of the condition.
- To faciliate research into hemiplegia and it's associated conditions.
