The aim of Calibre is to bring the pleasure of reading to people who have sight problems, dyslexia or physical disabilities through a free nationwide postal service of recorded books.
There are over 8000 titles to choose from (all unabridged) recorded on MP3 format CDs and people with sight problems have the extra option of books on cassette. The full catalogue can be viewed on the website and there is a small charge for printed catalogues.
There are also 1400 titles in the Young Calibre Library for under 16 year olds.
