The Society is a membership organization run by volunteers with branches throughout the UK.

The Society aims to raise funds for scientific research to provide treatments leading to a cure for retinitis pigmentosa.

The Society provides a welfare support and guidance service to its members and their families. There is an annual subscription charge and a publications list is available by contacting the above.
