AIMS (Association for Improvements in the Maternity Services) is a pressure group which supports parents' rights in childbirth. AIMS works for women in two ways: by providing support and information about maternity choices to individual women and by functioning as a campaigning pressure group which has been at the forefront of the childbirth movement for the last 50 years.

AIMS publishes booklets on water and home birth, parents' rights, etc. It also publishes a quarterly journal with current information on consumer views, current practice, book reviews, etc.

AIMS also runs a telephone helpline and answers thousands of letters from parents, midwives and maternity units.
