NHS MidLifeCheck is a free online service that guides people through a series of questions about their lifestyle and gives personalised results. It does not replace contact with GPs and health professionals but gives additional information and current advice on how and where to find the best help for each individual's concerns. The planning sections give ideas for goals people may wish to set and offers support in achieving them. It is aimed at people over the age of 40 but it can be used by any adult.

From the Department of Health The prevention package raises the focus on prevention as a means of ensuring good health, well-being and independence in later life, by promoting and encouraging uptake of comprehensive health and social care services for older people.
