Hi since my mum has been taking this medicine she has changed beyond belief....she is not depressed anymore but can get pretty aggressive and she has a compulsion to shop, buying any old tat just because its cheap. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi, yes my partner changed from Seroxat to Venlafaxine about 6 months ago and I have noticed some significant changes. He now gets angry at the drop of the hat and cannot be reasoned with. I am finding it a real challenge. He is also a compulsive shopper but this predates his change of prescription. He has also lost any sex drive. I am relieved to see that you also have seen real significant changes. I know I am not alone with this.
