  1. This is my 3rd attempt at coming off venlafaxine. I find I'm ok until I get down to the lowest dose, 35mg. Then I start to feel dizzy, very anxoius, on edge and have problems sleeping. I really want to come off this drug I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about natural therapies to use whilst comikng off it? If I could spend a month in the caribbean, lying on a beach I'm sure I could come off it no probs! But like most people I am trying to juggle a busy life, I have 2 young children and a pt job, which makes it harder to cope with side effects. Any suggestions please, gratefully received!

  2. Hi, my experience/comment is no 10 on this website. Like you I have had several attempts to come off this nasty drug. I was down to 37.5mg but couldn't seem to get lower than this because of the terrible side effects. There isn't a lower dose of this drug available, so I asked my doctor if it would be ok to cut the tablet in half. She told me to give it a try. I started this last week, and I am over the moon to report, that I haven't had one side effect! I am going to take 1/2 the 37.5mg table for about another week or two, then I might take one every other day and see how that goes. I am amazed that I dont feel bad, as if I missed my 37.5mg table for even a couple of hours, I started to feel terrible. Hopefull this will help me to be rid of this drug once and for all! Good luck!:magic:
