Suspected Ovarian cyst

  1. My view of gynaecologists is from a deep mistrust of men wanting to get into women's vaginas by this route.

I went to a Stirling hospital a couple years ago. My partner was not allowed to accompany me because the nurse said that I was going to get an intimate examination. so he was taken to another room.

It was a cubicle with two doors, one at each end. When it was my turn the nurse opened the far door and I walked in. I almost fainted with fright. After my partner being refused permission to accompany me, I saw two male doctors and 1 female, and about six or seven students standing at the vagina end of the table. At least four of them were male and younger than me. In fact I think I was at the school with one of them. All of them looked at me with great interest, assembled and waiting for the show. When I went up to the table they shuffled forward.

I was wearing a flimsy gown which never covered me properly. Not that that mattered because the nurse who had refused my partner entry wanted to lift it up to just under my breasts for this examination.

Although petrified with fear I resisted all attempts to make me expose myself for them.

after I had demonstrated unwillingness to be their porn star of the day I got out the door I had come in. This was the very worst experience I have had with men. The secrecy and mystery was kept up until the cublcle door opened.

they must have thought that I was another lamb for the slaughter.

sorry to disappoint all the boys. I will never go near anyone described as a gynaecologist again unless I experience real and proper symptoms of something wrong with me. I will never have children to keep these pervs. occupied. When will this sordid scenario be exposed as the sexual abuse which it is. This was not the idealised gynaecology visit with the kind lady doctor as shown on line on all the videos. This was totally different. Never again.

After a subsequent examination by a female doctor (in private, no audience) I was prescribed antibiotics which very quickly eliminated the problem I had.

  2. i had a similer experience when i went to have a colonoscpy, i was never asked to have my permission about having an audience, so when i arrived in the examaning room there was four young male students there i was so embarassed, if it had been female students i would have not mind at all, but i really think it is disgusting that you have to lay there as if it is a normal proceedure to be done, what is the meaning of patients confidentually? i know they have to learn but let it be done properly!!!!
