   I had laser surgery on my eyes eighteen months ago and at the same time stopped taking the contraceptive pill.

   Since then every month I seem to get at least one stye.

   Is this connected to hormones or the laser surgery?

   What do you recommend as treatment?

   Hi

   My guess it was the surgery. I share your pain, I use to wear contact lenses and within a few months I started to get them regular on my left eye. Tried everything short of surgery, my GP kept giving me eyedrops but it wouldn’t go. He never told me that my contacts may be making it worse or causd it. I had to get help privately as my GP could not sort it, I was told of other easy options to deal with the problem and i them got back to my GP /knowing exactly what I needed to sort it . its much better now.
