Was presribed these drops for my Ocular Hypertension as the pressures seem to be increasing despite taking Latanprost every day for 10 years.. No problems intially apart from a few minutes of soreness when first applied. However after 6-9 months my eyes began to get very sore and red and felt gravally all the time. Initially it was thought to be an eye infection and treated with optrix antibiotic drops but there was no improvement. After a few visits to the Drs over a few weeks I was told to stop the drops and continue with my Latanaprost only to see what happened. Within a few days my eyes were absolutely fine proving the Dorzolamide was the problem. On having another routine appointment at the hospital my pressures even seemed to have improved and reduced so no need for more drops and just continue with the Latanaprost.
Sore eyes with Dorzolamide

I was taking Trusopt for about 8 years to control hypertension in my eyes after two cataract op's. They worked well with no side effects and my pressures remained normal. Then my surgery changed them to Dorzolomide. These worked just as well but twice I have been unable to get more than four or five days use before they run out. This never once happened with Truesopt.
