seroxat paroxatine hydrochloride

  1. Stay away from this drug it is addictive no matter what you are told I tried reducing dose and spent three days in bed now back on usual dose, you maybe one of the lucky ones that this drug works for but personally I would never have touched this drug had somebody told me about the side effects.THEY ARE REAL. :x

  2. Ive been on and off paroxetine and it is by no means addictive.

If you were taking it for a long time, ie anything more than a month, then drastically reducing the dose or going cold turkey would give you withdrawal symptoms which is NORMAL FOR ALL ANTIDEPRESSANTS.

increased anxiety, bouts of depression- ive experienced these things while discontinuing many different antidepressants but not all antidepressants.

Consult your doctor before you make a dose change next time and he might prescribe something to help you deal with the withdrawal symptoms if you express your concerns. Benzodiazepines have done wonders for me in dealing with these difficulties when they have been too much for me to handle on my own.
