I am 17. I have been a self harmer for 8 years. Nobody knew up until 1 year ago. The doctors have considered me as a 'hopeless case' which is someone they think can never be helped. I have tried numerous times to stop, but I can never do it. The longest I have stopped for is a month and a half which for me is a very big achievement as I used to cut everyday! I have been to 3 psychologists, 2 counsellors and 4 therapists and nothing. I suffer from depression, paranoia, anxiety and an eating disorder. When I was 8 I asked my Auntie if God put me on this earth to torture myself and suffer. Now, I have tried to stop cutting again, and it is making me feel so weak, I have also turned to Dihydrocodeine to make me feel better. Any advice would be grateful xoxo
