sebaceous cyst

  1. Good morning, for years ive been suffering from these types of cyst's. Usually they are manageable, and are just hard red lumps under the skin, eventually a head appears, and i pop them, they always appear on my inner thighs. All that comes out is a small amount of blood and puss, and they eventually go, but leave a small purple scar.

Unfortunately, since coming back from holiday (heat/humidity makes them worse) ive developed my most aggressive one, it was about the size of a golf ball, no head appeared, and it was black in colour due to the blood rising, the next day this blackness changed to a sac of white coloured puss under the skin, i had to bandage this up, as it was the only way i could walk. To cut a long story short, last night, i checked the cyst, and it had burst, the only way i can describe it now is a large crater in my thigh, with a black hole about the size of a pencil tip now left, any help, advice, suggestions on what i should now do? Regards,

  2. If you've got some Iodine Tincture or a similar Antiseptic give it a wipe over (it may sting), let it dry and then apply a light breathable dressing, smile
