Sarafem ( prozac ) for pmdd

   Has anyone any experience of taking this for pmdd? I am suffering terriible symptoms pre menstrually and need some help. I am also using cyclogest ( natural progesterone ) to see if this helps but I am only on second cycle of it.

   I have recently (3 months ago) stopped taken prozac after taking it for 7 years for panic disorder. I am a pre-menstual wreck now. So although I wasnt taking the drug for pms, I must say, in my experience, it was relieving the symptoms. I am actually considering whether to re-start it as the pms is so bad.

   Thanks for response!

   I have recently come off lofepramine for anxiety as it wasn't really helping, I am having a few weeks drug free to see how I go, but I am always affected by my hormanal cycle on top of being a nervous wreck, so maybe Prozac will work on both counts? Did you have any side effects with it?
