I have been feeling very tired and in a lot of pain recently which takes the form of severe muscle pain in my feet, legs, hands and neck. To the point of not being able to do normal everyday things like pick up a kettle or walk for more then a few minutes. A good nights sleep is a thing of the past and quite often I am unable to get up easily. So I am going to stop taking my simstatin today! I do have an appointment with my GP very soon and will discuss this with him. I will post how I feel within the next few days and pray that I see an improvement. [/code]

My husband had exactly the same - to point where he collapsed in the street one day when we were out. Luckily I had the car and was able to get him home. He went to his GP to discuss this, she seemed to think that the symptoms were not linked to simvastatin - but a week or so after stopping taking the drug my husband can now walk about reasonably well, and can do normal day to day things. The GP told him to stop for a month and then go back on to see if it was the drug, but he says he's not goping to take it any more. I now have my hubby back
