Ive had bouts of nausea since last september, usually lasting a few days and then going. At the end of november after drinking, the symptoms came on strong and persistant. I was treated for gastritis and given anti acids, these worked for a week until the symptoms came back, i was then given PPI's which also worked before the initial effect wore off. I was on these for a number of weeks and the dosage was also doubled. These seemed to control the symtoms but it never went away. I then saw a specialist who took me off the tablets and also gave me an endoscopy and colonoscopy as well as a number of biopsies and blood tests which came back negative. Recently symptoms havent been as bad but i still know its there. I have had two big flare ups of it, one was after a sweet and sour chicken take away, the other after a BBQ chicken pizza which makes me think maybe its an intolerance to something instead. I have also been told that when i have my flare ups and feel sick that i actually have a sicky/ill smell to me which makes me think its maybe an infection although tests say it isnt. It has been on and off for 7 months and almost constant for about 5 so would really like an answer to it as currently i have made no progress.

Hi wales321, I am sure you have had all the tests done, but have they checked your gall bladder and have you been tested for helicobacter Pylori? I know a few people who have had either one or the other of the above and the symptoms sound similar to theirs. Hope you get sorted.
