   Hi, im 18 years old, about 2 years ago i found out i had Clamydia, all in all i would say ive had it for about 1 year. Since being treated ive had several re-tests and they have come back negative. One thing that has been worrying me since is PID, what are the chances of me having it? and how can they find out if i've had it before? they have told me i have had BV before but now im wondering if they may have got it confused with PID. im worried i may be infertile now i dont know what to do. Help!

   I have experienced the exact same thing and I am also leaning towards PID rather than BV now seeing as how it never seems fully treated. For almost 2 years I went on a birth control, sprintec, and for whatever reasons I did not have any flare ups during that time. I am not sure if the birth control had anything to do with the disorder but I suddenly got it again when i switched birth controls. I am considering going back to it now that this pain is back and also asking about being treated for PID just to see if I respond.
