On September 18, 2004 I was bending down for aout 5 minutes and I tried to raise myself up, but the pelvic area and the thighs would ot work. I was then helped up and standing, I tried to take a step forward, but I was prevented. I hesitated and suddenly around the whole pelvic area came a sharp stabbing pain. The pain continued as I tried to walk again. but now with a few baby steps, I made it about 15 feet t my door.
Off and on for the next 3 months this problem was worse. At times, from a sitting position I tried to raise myself up, but the outter points of the hips was strong with pain. Over and over this became a way of life.
Now, here it is March 2007 and not one doctor will diagnose me.
Neurologist says it is Pelvic & Girdle problems. I then had Rehab for a few sessions and they also did not know why. I then had 3 infections. One was dental, one was a abcess on my stomach and one was vaginal. For 9 months this doctor allowed this infection on my skin. Finally he cuts it out, he does no culture and they never tell me what it was. They packed the sore and then I had to go back to have it pulled out every other day. I did this 3 times, but do to them doing this procedure, without numbing me, was so painful and I stopped going.
I saw a Chiropractor. He did his x-rays and saw that I was tiled to the rght on the spine. My neck area was shocking to them. They asked me questions about what I may have done or if ay major stress was in my life. I had 3 sessions and quit. Too painful.
I came to the point that I was now walking with a gait problem. I was walking, but my hips had extreme pain, hamstrings were so tight and my ankles are hurting as I walked a few steps to maybe 100 feet. Suddenly my legs gave out. I had a physical limitation for sure. I thought maybe my mind was affected by the infections. There is Cerebral Disease. I have no balance. I can fall now. I am mostly home bound now.
My Neurologist does B12 Shots & Folic Acid. He does a Lumbar Spinal Tap, bloodwork for Vitamin K and sent me to Rehab also. He wants Pelvic and Girdle Training done. I had 4 sessions and I stopped. I hurt too much. Besides, they did not have any diagnosis like all the rest.
Now I am at Pain Management and they do 2 sessions of epidurals. I had minor relief on each, but I returned back to where I was in pain.
I have had extreme diahrrea from June 2004--March 2007. The Gastro doctor does Coloncopy and all is ok. He does Endoscopy, sees Atrophic Mucosa and tells me I have Gastritis. I live on Lomotil.
Back to the Neurologist. He told me that I have Gluten Allery. But the Gastro doctor tells me that I do not have that.
I now break out with hives. Head to toes. That started in Novemer 2006. I passed in a bowel movement what looked like huge mucus balls. It scared me and without thinking I flushed the toilet.
I have had Fibromyalgia since 1989. I have had my appendix, gallbladder, hysterectomy, 2 exploratories abdominal, tubal ligation after ectopic pregnancy and adhesions removed once.
I am now disabled. I have no answers. Oh, I do not have a brain tumor or MS.
Bye
