newly diagnosed diverticular desease

   Hi, last week i had a colonoscopy and have been diagnosed with diverticular disease they also found polyps and an ulcer which they have taken biopsies of. Biopsies take 4/6 weeks to diagnose and i will be sent letter to see specialist in about 3 months. It's a long time to wait without any further advice except eat high fibre and a patient information sheet. A long tome to be worrying.

   Polyps are usually nothing... Ulcer sounds Autoimmune Disease'ish.. You'll have to tell us what they say
