  1. My life was inhibited by the effects of allergy to tree pollen from February to May each year. I began to look 10 years older in April and May thanks to the symptoms (losing fluids and dry itching/flaking skin around my eyes, nose and mouth). I take Fexofenadine 180 from January to May each year and for 2 years was symptom-free. This year was less succesful but I still had 2 months free. It's difficult to get people to believe that you hav "hayfever" months before anyone else, and 4 months is 1/3 of my life so I used to get fed up and irritable. I hope that the Fexofenadine works better next year, otherwise my only option is injections.

  2. ive got sympathey with you there, i started january this year and im feeling quite down with it, and like you say when you tell people they say \"already thought that was a summer thing\" i have to explain as we have had a mild winter and the trees have got the blossom on aready the pollen is in the air. Gosh its hard work sad , anyway can you get your medicine over the counter or do you have to have a prescription off the doctor, i take hayfever and allergy tabs from boots and allergy eye drops and the artificial tears , but i still suffer.

  3. I suffer from hayfever all year round and on top of that mould allergies too. I'm on 120mg twice a day and sometimes even then in late summer I find I'm still rubbing my dry eyes that somehow water so badly I look like I'm crying.

I've been told if they don't hold me I'm stuck to cetirizine 20mg three times a day, if that doesn't work then I'm stuck.

Haven't had any side effects luckily, just hope they work for next spring and summer when I suffer the most!
