  1. I lost my seventeen month old daughter (Trinity Elise) to myocarditis. Trinity was taken to the doctor on Friday and the doctors said she had an ear infection. By Sunday (Christmas Eve) my daughter was very weak, she could not keep anything down on her stomach. She was vomiting constantly. I called the doctors office that same Sunday, and it was shared with me by the nurse on call that the medication she was taking (Omnicef)was one of the side effects and was very normal. I was told to continue giving Trinity the medication so her ear infection could clear. On Monday morning (Christmas Day) Trinity was not any better, she still could not keep anything down. So I took her to the ER. At first they said she was dehydrated and began to insert IV's into her. Next thing they were saying something was not right with her heart and I should call my family. We rushed to ICU so they could prepare her for transport to New Orleans, we never made it. I have been so angry, so confused with losing my only child to viral myocarditis. I still don't understand why this happened to us especially on Christmas Day. Trinity was such a happy, healthy child with a jolly spirit and soul I will always Love and miss her dearly.

she got up one morning and started vomiting, something didn't feel right so i took her to the doctors, the doctor said she had probably got a virus and if got any worse to take her back,

by tea time i was starting to get worried, so i took her back, another dr so her and told us to take her to the hospital because she was dehydrated

.we got to the hopital and waited a few hours before we even saw a doctor ,eventually a dr came took some blood and put her on a drip,my daughter to me looked really ill,but they said she was just dehydrated andwould be able to go home the net day.i stayed at the hospital all night in bed at her side, the next morning i woke to find my daughter was not in bed i sat up and to my horror my daugher was just lying on the floor at the bottom of the bed i shouted out help and a nurse came running in the next thing there was loads of medical people they couldnt do anything they said we cant get over our loss she to was healthy liely little girl. sad
