hye there,.first of all.i am shida from malaysia. yup.i juz found out about myself all this long. i am having facial nerve palsy since birth. but till now am in my age of 20 years old. i actually know what happen to me all this while ! i already did a research and sure about this.but the things is my palsy is to be said not seriusly at all. i did not this until i spoken to an india doctor i meet online. my parents never bring me to hospital about this..but now am affraid.what should i do? i am enginneer wanna be..so did my brain being affected by this palsy? am not sure. can i lose my hearing? tumor? can anyone tell me more about this please..sincerely.SHIDA new member of FNP.haha. i love saying that disease. :lol:

Hi Shida I too have facial palsy mine was caused by having a brain tumour taken out 14 months ago. It is slowly recovering but still have trouble trying to close my eye. I am also deaf on the side the tumour was but I have never heard of facial palsy causing deafness my tumour caused my deafness.
