I am 45 years old, been diabetic for34 years and suffered from chronic pain for 15 years. Through the chronic pain i have been on lots of different medications.

Nearly three weeks ago i had a lognocaine infusion, to help with the pain, and have felt unwell ever since.

I first put it down to the infusion but as i was not getting any better decided that it wasn't that that was making me feel so ill.

I've been bloated,full of really bad smelling wind[has'nt made me very popular with everyone else!!]I've also had the most revolting taste when i burp. Sorry for the bluntness of how this has beenm put,but there really wasn't any other way to put it.

Anyway thought it was time to see the gp and she prescribed omeprazole capsules 20mg daily.T he symptoms seem to have worn off a bit so i'm hoping that the answer lies with these capsules.I will let you know what happens and if i can be of any help to anyone else please do not hesitate to contact me.
