   Hi there,

   I wonder whether someone can advise me what chance do I have to be sterilized on NHS even though I am only 30 years old and do not have any childrens.

   I have heard that my chances are very small.

   Hi

   I'm sure you will probably have had an answer to your question by now, but I thought I would post my experience.

   I'm 36, child free, and have requested an NHS sterilisation. The consultant asked me if I was absolutely sure I never wanted to become pregnant and told me that I should consider the operation irreversible. If at some point I did request a reversal it would have to be paid for and then booked me in for the operation.

   I'm not sure if my age was a factor in how straight forwardly my request was dealt with but I'm now looking forward to the op in 3 weeks time.

   hello there

   i kept on and on at my doctors and family planning clinics for 9 years and just aftyer my 30th i had it done on the nhs..... doctors at hosptial werent happy at first but i insisted that it was what i wanted, good luck. you get heavier periods after tho ....xx
