Hi my dad was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukeamia two years ago, he had chemo and went into remission for 10 months. It has since re-occured last July and we were told in September that he has about twelve months to live. He is 66 so they can do nothing else but give him regular blood transfusions; he has 6 units on average per month. I feel useless because there is nothing that I can do. Is there any one else in a similiar position? I would like to hear from them.
