  1. Hi I have been prescribed Pred... for my asthma and a chest infection. Only on day 2 and I am still struggling with coughing and breathing. However, I have an immense amount of energy and have survived on 3 hours of sleep a night since taking them! Usually I have to have at least 8 hours a night. Feeling like an ever ready bunny thats been smoking 20 bensons (altho I dont smoke!).

  2. I have been prescribed prednisolone, for the same reason as you, Although ive never suffered with asthma until recently. A Few weeks ago i caught a cold and with that came a chest infection, i was prescribed a course of antibitotics, which didn't clear it and have now been given a preventer and the pred... Im one of those people that doesn't like taking tablets and always make the mistake of reading the side effects! I only have a five day course and have to take 6 5mg tablets a day, but i wondered if you suffered any side effects and if the tablets helped sort your chest out, just generally what you thought? any reply would be really appreciated.
