Hi - have been on Ven for about 2 years after other A/D'...

  1. Hi - have been on Ven for about 2 years after other A/D's did nothing. I seem to remember that after the initial sickness, dizziness etc they had the desired effect but now i can't tell if they do anything to me at all unless i miss a dose, and then all hell breaks loose in my head. It seems from reading the other comments on here that i'm not the only one who thinks that GP's know as much about depression as i do about horticulture. I am now on 2 x 75mg a day and i used to want to be normal again but if that means giving up Ven i'm not so sure. Incidentally i have had a few side effects that i would love to know if anyone else has experienced. firstly i have self harmed on a few occasions since being on Ven, purely 'cause i got so angry and had to do something. secondly, i often wake in the night soaked with sweat, i cant work out if this is when i've missed a dose or changed the timing. Oh, why not have a hat room for us poor Ven slaves!!!!!:headhurts:
