Had a bad bout of gout over a period of two weeks swelling in knee and pain in elbow kept recurring every 3-4 days. Today some two weeks later noticed plum size swelling at base of elbow and went to see Doctor who diagnosed Bursitis and said it should go given time. He said the gout may have caused it but thought more likely that a knock may have caused it. We will see how it goes
