Globus Hys. symptom not listed by anyone.

   I was diagnosed with Globus Pharyngeus by my doctor in March. Since then other problems have arisen. Has anyone else experienced swollen glands in their neck/jaw in addition to the tight feeling in the throat.

   The doctor gave me antibiotics for the swollen glands but they had no effect and she now says it must be a viral infection that my body can't resist.

   Can anyone offer advice/suggestions.

   yes i have had swollen glands with 2 throat episodes which felt like infections anti biotics got rid of the swallowing pain i had but i have had the feeling of a piece of bread in my throat for few months now wont go. until today i had never heard of this problem was waiting for results from chest xray etc, hope this is anxiety its better than the alternative. i will speak to my doc once iv had results about globus.
