   Hi Jo, was just woundering did you have to taper off the mirtazapine before you started the venlafaxine, thinking of giving venlafaxine a go.

   Buspirone does nothing for my anxiety. Do you think the venlafaxine is helping you.

   I just stopped the mirtazapine sraight off as advised by psych and have had no side effects.Idont think the venlafaxine is helping at all because all day until late afternoon I have staggering anxiety which is totally debilitating and means I have to sleep most of the day to get away.Itslike my body does a shut down for me because otherwise I would flip.I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.Ive just started depakote to see if that will stop it but Ive lost faith in drugs now,Ive had too many and none of them can help me.Hope you get more luck from them

   Hi jo, Being trying to get to see my psych now for 2 weeks, because buspirone does naff all, rang again today still I cannot get to see him, theres no appointments, was told to go see my own gp, went tonight and he was discusted at the responce for mental health unit. Put me on 75mg venlafaxine and stopped the buspirone. I hope with all my heart this works, going on holiday on saturday for 2 weeks so hopefully I dont get any side effects I cannot handle.
