Flattened Keloid Scar

   I have had very good success with the steroid injections. I have keloids on my chest and back and one that was on my jawline. Theyhave all flattened and I am very happy witht he one on my jawline which was terrible. Now it is much better -- musch less noticeable. Chest one is flatter and so are the ones on the back. Very happy with the results -- no side effects other than my periods being a little bit screwed up in timing. Hope this helps.

   That is very encouraging to hear! May I ask how many injections you've gotten and for how many years? I'm worried about recurrence or rebounding...

   pls could you tell me

   what strength of steroid you were injected with, bcoz av had 7 monthly injections of triamicinolone 10mg and am seeing very little results

   [code:1:025daa45b3]The strength of the injections are I believe good, I hope they are injecting at the place where the keloids touch the skin, I mean where they seem to join the skin or at the base of the skin. Try changing the doctor and see if you can achieve better results.[/code:1:025daa45b3]
