First day of mirtazapine I was a complete zombie at work. I barely was able to drive my car at 15mg. It altered my memory retention at work, it made me crave junk food like cookies. I had vivid dreams that weren't always pleasant. AND not only did it not improve my mood, I was highly irritable and easily angered. This drug is not for depression. It is for drug addicts that want to zone out of life altogether, not feel good. I was lethargic for 7 days and decided it just wasn't worth it. Stopped cold turkey. Will never take it again.
