feel like a zombie

   I have been on ramipril now for about two months, gradually increasing the dose to 7.5mg. To start with I had quite bad diarrhea for a couple of weeks but that seems to have gone now. The only problem is now I'm having more trouble than usual sleeping, having terrible moods and for the past two days I've been in bed due to feeling exhausted. I have to look after two children, must drive them to and from school each day and I'm finding this very hard to do right now. Just wondering if anyone else has felt the same and with the tiredness fade after a while? Also my blood pressure has appeared to change very little. A trip back to the docs is in order I think. Still at least I don't have the cough!

   Hi,

   I've now been on Ramipril just for 3 days and I feel like a zombie too. Very light headed and my eye focus is terrible, I'm sure I shouldn't really be driving!

   Do these symptoms continue or will they fade? Don't think I could carry on with the pills feeling stoned all the time!
