dull teeth

   hi have been on orlistat for a bout 3 months and have lost 18lbs but my teeth seem to be yellower

   than my normal bright white has anyone had a similar problem?

   Hi, I'm new to this site but I thought I would tell you my Wifes experience using ORLISTAT 120mg.

   She started in the spring of 2009 by asking her Doctor wether it was safe to take Alli with all of her Ailments. He said rather than spending out on them I can prescribe ORLISTAT which is identical but a little stronger. She lost about 3 stone between then and October 3rd 2010 when she was rushed into Hospital with Acute Kidney failure. It seems her habit of drinking around 15 cups of strong tea daily and taking Orlistat 120mg she created Oxylate Crystals in the Kidneys which stops them working. Her function dropped to 8% which meant she started Renal Diatysis in December 2010 which she will continue for life.

   Another side affect of this is that she lost ALL her teeth in the space of 3 months, they became brittle and fell out. in December 2011. ande she broke her Left Femur on 23rd June 2012, which still hasn't healed. It seems the Dialysis takes the Calcium out of the Bones so any falls now become traumatic.

   So please be very careful of ORLISTAT, yes it works but for some of us it has consequences
