  1. i've had pf for nearly four years now with no sign it will ever end.

i've tried every treatment i could get my hands on and nothing has worked.

the only thing that relieved the pain a little was walking with a cain.

i have it equally in both feet, so there is no relief. i've started getting back pain from sitting down to much on uncomfortable chairs.

i was taking strong pain meds but stopped because i noticed i was craving them even when there was less pain.

i look completely healthy so no one offers me seats on the bus or tube so if there are no seats i have to wait. in situations like this i find myself envying the chair-bound.

I used to be an active person, i hurt my feet doing parkour (like freerunning) but now everyone thinks i'm lazy. i pretty much am lazy, just watch tv all day getting fatter and fatter.

My chosen proffession was working in the tv industry, the lowest rung of which is called being a \"runner\". obviously i can't do this job; all my skills and experience are in this field so i'm unemployed. soon i'll be too old anyway.

I'm 28 and i'm reduced to the state of an OAP.

just letting you newbies know what's in store for you.

  2. Hi there,

I am a 4 year PF sufferer. Tried everything post surgery and have to say that this is the worst sports injury you could have - it seems never-ending! I was an active sporty 34 year old...life has changed.

Very few people out there seems able to relate to the everyday debilitating effects of chronic PF.

    Please reply!
