I just wanted to share my experience for people who are worried about complex ovarian cysts. I wanted to let people know that sometimes these cysts can disappear on their own. I spent a lot of time researching online about complex cysts, and all of the information I found seemed to point to simple cysts being nothing to worry about, and complex cysts being more serious. I had a miscarriage earlier this year and the scan showed a complex cyst on each ovary measuring about 3.5cm each. I went back to the hospital a few months later and had another scan, and the complex cysts had disappeared. The consultant said the cysts would have been supporting the pregnancy - it is possible to have a cyst on each ovary - and disappeared because I miscarried.
